Safe Schools Manitoba

So that we can provide "Nothing less than outstanding learning experiences, one learner at a time", we need to continually improve our ability to maintain learning environments that are physically and emotionally safe. As a result, we are updating our procedures related to all aspects of safety, clarifying expectations, and improving our ability to ensure that safety is an integral component of ongoing instruction in our schools.  Some of the specific steps we are taking are as follows: 
  • A Divisional Crisis Team
  • School Crisis Team
  • A Safety Manual
  • Workshops on safety issues offered within the schools and to the community
  • Safe Schools Website
  • Safe Schools Newsletter column
It is hard to imagine a cause more deserving of our thought and effort, than the safety and well-being of our children.
